About Katy

Katy Loutzenhiser is the author of If You're Out There (2019) and The Girl Least Likely  (2021) from Balzer+Bray / HarperCollins. 

 

Katy grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, dabbling in many art forms and watching rom-coms on repeat. After graduating from Bowdoin College, she found an unlikely home in the Chicago comedy scene and regularly sang improvised musicals in public. These days she writes YA books in her pajamas. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband (a real-life handsome architect) and baby girl, and is happiest when swimming in the ocean or eating a burrito.
